The monographic exhibition dedicated to Michael Leopold Willmann, a German Baroque painter who became known as the Silesian Rembrandt, presents for the first time ever the biggest collection of his works. Majority of them were created to adorn churches and monasteries throughout Silesia, Bohemia and Moravia. Extremely prolific artist, Willmann produced over 500 paintings and frescoes in his lifetime, which granted him the title of the leading painter of Silesia.
