Best Restaurants and Cafes in Bucharest offering Delivery & Takeaway during Coronavirus

As you may already know, all restaurants in Bucharest are now closed after Romania’s president decreed the state of emergency in the country. You can read more about the Coronavirus in Romania here.

If you’re staying at home and you want to take a break from cooking, some restaurants and coffee shops now offer takeaway and delivery options, either by calling them directly or using online/app services like Glovo or Uber Eats.

Below is a list of the best places in Bucharest that are still making food to order.

The Artist
One of the fanciest restaurants in Bucharest has now launched its first menu designed especially for home delivery. If you always wanted to enjoy their famous pre-dessert of chocolate with black truffles from the comfort of your couch, now you can!  The minimum order is 60 RON, and there’s free delivery within a range of 5 km from the restaurant. You can order from 12 PM to 7 PM and pre-scheduled delivery is also available by request. If you don’t live close to the restaurant but you’re craving their delicious dishes, you can come and pick up the order yourself, and they will bring it to your car!

VacaMuuu
If meat dishes are your favourite, VacaMuuu has you covered. The restaurant will deliver their specialties to your door (in sector 1 and 2, Bucharest and in Pipera, Ilfov), so you can stay safe and satisfied at home. You can order the VacaMuuu specialities from the restaurant menu, but also the best types of fresh meat from their Butcher shop and products from their Grocery shop like olive oil, truffle oil, acetto balsamico, artizanal pasta, sauces, cheese, salamies and prosciutto and other goodies. If you’re already hungry, you can order by calling them and paying online.

Restaurant Ciao Niki
Craving some delicious Italian food? Ciao Niki is ready to prepare your favourite Italian dishes and bring them to your door. All you need to do is pick your favorite salad, pasta dish, risotto or dessert from their delivery menu (you can find them on their Facebook page) and call them to place your order.  You will have to pay by cash and if you’re not in the delivery area, the minimum order is 100 RON.  Enjoy your meal!

Osho Primaverii
Staying home doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a delicious Black Angus Burger or a really good steak whenever you feel like it, so an order from Osho is always a good idea!  You can order your favourite dishes using Glovo or the Uber Eats app, or you can go and pick up the order yourself after ordering by the phone. The menu is on their website, so all you have to do is choose!

YOSHI Sushi & Teppanyaki
Staying home and craving some really good sushi? Yoshi is now delivering their tasty Japanese food to your door, so you can enjoy your favorite sushi from your pajamas.  More than that, every order comes with a free Japanese tiramisu that will make your day sweeter than ever, so what are you waiting for?

Coffee Shops


Dose Café
This coffee shop will definitely make your weekend better with its new Breakfast Basket offer. If you don’t want to give up your weekend habits, Dose Café will bring to you those special products that would make you want to leave the house on a weekend morning. Your favourite specialty coffee, a croissant, a fresh juice and a delicious rhubarb tart are all included in the breakfast basket that you can order on their website for one, two or four people.
PS. They also launched a coffee subscription!

STEAM Coffee Shop
If you used to drink your coffee from Steam, you can still do just that, as they continue to serve their delicious coffee from the window in their two locations from Bucharest. If you don’t want to leave the house but you’re dying to drink a cup, you can order from them using the Glovo app, every day from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Beans&Dots
Yes, they now make deliveries! If you live near one of their two locations, you can order your favorite coffee at their phone number between 9 AM and 4 PM and safely pay online with your card. The minimum order is 50 RON and the delivery is free. If you don’t live nearby but still want your coffee from Beans&Dots, you can pick up the coffee yourself from the exterior of their locations after you order by phone and pay online.
