In China, 'Sifu' is title given to a highly skilled master, and in this case the master in question is head chef Kyle Bu, who puts a modern spin on traditional Cantonese and Schezuan cuisine. Originally from the city of Lijiang in Yunnan province, Chef Bu acquired considerable experience in the kitchens of several luxury hotels, before taking on his new role at the Crown Plaza's SIFU. Combining authentic cooking methods with fresh, high-quality local ingredients, the tastes and flavours of each dish really impress. While the menu includes a wide variety of delights, the standout is the incomparable Peking Duck, which comes served in three ways: crispy duck with pancakes, duck soup with bok choy and tofu, and sliced duck stir fried noodles. The entire dining experience is complimented by the modern, elegant dining rooms and the attentive, professional staff.
