He had an extraordinary personality, a vibrant tempermant and outstanding talent. Jozef Hecht was not only a painter, sculptor and illustrator, but also a traveler and sensitive observer of the natural world 



Now, in his native Łódż, 60 pieces of Hecht's work will be presented, representing all disciplines of his art, showing his passion for travel, his fascination with nature, and the inspiration behind his work. 



The exhibition takes you through three areas close to the artist that strongly influenced his sense of observation and stimulated his imagination: the cities and landscapes of northern and southern Europe, the world of plants, animals and the four primordial elements (water, earth, air, fire) and the workshop of artistic printmaking.
