Righteous Among the Nations Monument

Park Ocalałych     more than a year ago
The Righteous Among the Nations Monument is an impressive memorial commemorating Poles who helped save Jewish lives during WW2. Located in The Survivor's Park (Park Ocalałych), in the northern part of the city in the district of Bałuty, it is actually best viewed from the air - this may be quite hard to do, of course, so we have added a photo to our gallery for you to view! You may very well find yourself here if you are either on the trail of the former Second World War ghetto area or general Jewish history of Łódź, but either way, the park is a pleasant, and indeed, essential part of Bałuty. Be sure to also check out the Jan Karski Memorial Mound and The Marek Edelman Dialogue Center, also located in the park.
