A pitiful excuse for medical care --
My wife went into the hospital with a stroke. The Emergency doctors there argued it was "just a migraine" and wouldn't provide treatment, MRI, pain relief -- just "see a neurologist." Go to neurology department and we sat on wooden benches in a hallway that smelled like 3 people have been pissing in it for a week for 2.5 hours, continually asking when we would be seen and never were. We finally left as it was "just a migraine," What kind of facility puts someone in severe pain, with an obvious problem, on a wooden bench for that long?
Things didn't get better so we went to a real hospital in Vienna -- it was in fact a stroke. We lost two days of treatment to prevent additional damage due to the incompetency of the idiots at this hospital. I pleaded with them about the blood pressure, the pain, the abnormal speech, the lack of movement on her left side. That "just a migraine" may have now caused permanent damage.
If you are ever ill in Maribor cross the border to see a doctor. Or, perhaps go to an animal hospital as you'll receive better care.
