Wow, and just like that it’s over, but what a fabulous few months it’s been seeing our readers come out in full force to support their favourite cafes, restaurants, bars and clubs, shopping, cultural venues, and experiences! Our 12th annual Best of Ljubljana competition has been our strongest yet, with over 100,000 voters over the six main categories, along with some very happy winners. Congratulations to all of our finalists and overall winners, and thank you to everyone who took the time to vote and for supporting so many local businesses.
Our presentation event was another huge success, big thanks to Mladinskega gledališča for their perfect hosting, where our winners were presented with their awards. We streamed the whole evening on Facebook Live, and we hope that those of you watching from home enjoyed it as much as we did, (the event is still available to watch online). The celebrations continued into the night at Publika Bar, leaving us with big smiles (and rather fuzzy heads) this morning.
This year’s voting was split into six categories, with between five and nine sub-categories, giving us a whopping total of well over 450 local businesses for you to support. And show your support, you did! Click here for the full list of finalists.
