Slovenia’s banking heritage is celebrated here and focusses on banking from 1820 through to present day. The museum was created by NLB and the presentation walks visitors through 200 years of history, showing the different currencies and banking practises that have been used, as well as introducing some of the key figures from the Slovenian banking world. Get hands-on and count money on the counting machine, check the authenticity of your own bank notes, and enter the bank vault, which was still used until recently. Overall, a fun and interesting trip out!
