St John's Church

Gornja Podaca, nr. Gradac     more than a year ago
Despite its unassuming looks, this little church in the mountain hamlet of Gornja Podaca is one of the most valuable examples of pre-Romanesque church architecture in Dalmatia. It was built in the 11th or 12th century thanks to an endowment by the Kačić family of local nobles.
