The ultimate cheap and greasy, quick and easy snack joint. Pyshki or doughnuts are a legendary snack from the Soviet times and this place has been here for decades, you'll find many other imitators but this place is the real deal. It's all turfed up in a no frills Soviet style and the locals are often queuing outside the door to get their fix. Aside from doughnuts they have tea and coffee and that's about it.
I love these little donuts. The cafe is always packed, people buying platefuls. The tea (or is it coffee - - who cares it's sweet and hot) is a perfect addition.

Very cheap and good if you want some hot sugar/fat to put in your mouth. Check out the bathroom of the one on Zagorodny- -there is literally a sign telling you not to throw your condoms and drug needles in the toilets. Welcome to Russia!
