15th Tallinn Chamber Music Festival

The Tallinn Chamber Music Festival is a major classical music event in Estonia and has become a highly valued tradition. It was created to enrich and add some classical spice to the busy cultural life in Tallinn, giving audiences the chance to enjoy and take pride in the country’s most outstanding musicians alongside many well-known guests.


August 21 at 14:00 in Swedish St. Michaels’s Church
Lasnamäe, Nõmme and Viimsi music schools, violin ensemble “Võlukeeled” (“Magic Strings”) of the Old Town Educational College, Vocal Department of Tallinn Music High School, Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre’s chamber ensembles.
Programme includes valued music from classical to contemporary.

August 22 at 19:00 in Tallinn Town Hall
Kristel Pärtna (soprano, Estonian National Opera), Aule Urb (mezzo soprano), Atlan Karp (baritone), Tiina Kärblane (piano).
Programme: Debussy, Sibelius, Grieg, Saar etc.
The presentation of the Marje and Kuldar Sink award of PLMF “Young Singer 2019” by Mrs Mari-Ann and Mr Tunne Kelam.

August 23 at 19:00 in Hopner House
Clarinettists Madis Kari and Toomas Vavilov, Neeme Ots (trumpet), Kirill Lissijenko (piano).
Programme: Mendelssohn, Shubert/Liszt, Sutermeister etc.

August 24 at 19:00 in Tallinn Town Hall
Kadi Jürgens (mezzo soprano), Oliver Kuusik (tenor), Riina Pikani (piano).
Programme: Duparc, Poulenc, Messiaen, Eespere, Viira etc.

August 26 at 19:00 in Hopner House
Maano Männi (violin), Vladimir Reshetko (cello, Russia/Finland), Irina Zahharenkova (piano, Estonia/Finland).
Programme: Händel/Halvorsen, Mendelssohn, Ravel.

August 27 at 19:00 in Hopner House
Gitta-Maria Sjöberg (soprano, Denmark), Tobias van der Pals (cello, Sweden/Denmark), Polina Fradkina (piano, Russia).

August 28 at 19:00 in Tallinn Town Hall
Ralf Taal (piano)
Programme includes Mozart and Beethoven.

August 29 at 19:00 in Tallinn Town Hall
Pille Lill (soprano), Eve Neumann (saxophone), Jaak Lutsoja (accordion), violin players Maano Männi and Kristina Kriit, Johanna Vahermägi (viola), cellists Andreas Lend and Vladimir Reshetko (Russia/Finland).
Programme: Pertmann “Songs of Siuru” (world premiere), Schubert String Quintet.

August 30 at 19:00 in Tallinn Town Hall
Sigrid Kuulmann (violin), Andreas Lend (cello), Irina Zahharenkova (piano).
Programme: Rachmaninoff etc.
