"Art of the Brick" brings Nathan Sawaya’s vibrant LEGO universe to Tallinn’s Telliskivi Creative City, where over 70 sculptures crafted from more than a million bricks captivate visitors of all ages. The exhibition blends whimsical original creations with clever brick reinterpretations of iconic artworks like Klimt’s 'The Kiss', Van Gogh’s 'Starry Night', and Munch’s 'The Scream', creating a cheerful and surprisingly reflective experience. Sawaya, a former New York lawyer who left his corporate career in 2004 after his early LEGO works went viral online, has built a global phenomenon that remains a crowd-pleaser two decades later. The immersive, colourful displays are family-friendly, with a hands-on build-your-own-LEGO area adding interactive fun. Running through March 29, 2026, it’s a joyful pop-art escape that turns childhood toys into impressive contemporary art.
