This place tried to rip off me and my friend. We were looking to have a drink on sunday night and a waiter from Old Estonia came to us and said that there is somekind of happy hour going on and all drinks are 3 euros. We thought that ok, let's have a beer here at the terrace. We sat down at a table and another waiter came and we double-checked from him that the price of one beer is indeed 3 euros. My friend also ordered a sallad and the price was 9 euros on the menu. When the bill came it was 4 euros for a beer and 12 euros for the sallad. We noticed that there was no VAT included for the sallad on the menu price, but the beer price was not acceptable since we double-checked it directly from the waiters. When we complained about the beer price, the waiter tried to act dumb and said "no, no, I said it was 4 euros". Then the waiter disappeared (I guess he tried to wear us down) and after 5 minutes came back and said that just pay the 3 euros/beer. For clarification, we were not drunk and the issue here is not about the money, it's about the principle. Also, the waiter told us before we ordered that this same happy hour was ongoing at three restaurants that are located in the same building as Old Estonia, and they all have the same owner. I assume that they would have ripped us off too, but since I don't know the names of the other two restaurants, I'll leave them out of this.
