We've always loved The Alchemist for their craft beer and cocktail chemistry, but these days the real reason to visit is their award-winning food (Gault & Millau 2020) from head chef Rafał Kowalczyk. While you can enjoy gourmet interpretations of Polish standards, fresh seafood and bar classics like burgers and fish & chips, their specialty is juicy steaks grilled and served on hot lava plates. The presentation is as sleek and pleasing as the interior design, which is hard not to admire.

Of course, while the food is the highlight for many visitors to this classy-casual spot (how they effortlessly blend both, we'll never know), but for others, the highlight is their cocktail menu! Inventive and beautiful cocktails abound here with fluffy bits of cotton candy, or bathtub-shaped glasses, or any other wild assortment of very cool and very photo-worthy items. Plus, the cocktails themselves just taste really good. No cutting corners here!

The Alchemist and its sister spot on Poznańska are both perfect for a business lunch, after-work drink, social gathering, romantic date...well, we can't think of any occasion when we wouldn't want to come here. Plus, make sure to check their amazing garden during the summer months.
