Chopin Concerts in Łazienki Park

May 15 - Sep 25 2022       Łazienki Park
A statue to Poland’s most famous composer, Fryderyk Chopin, was unveiled in 1926 in the Royal Łazienki Park. It was unfortunately destroyed during World War II but rebuilt and again placed in the park in 1958. Since 1959 the Fryderyk Chopin Society and the Stołeczna Estrada have organised concerts of Chopin music in the shadow of the statue during the warmest months of the year. These concerts feature many pianists of worldwide renown, including outstanding musicians of the younger generation.

This year’s 63rd season of Chopin Concerts at Łazienki Park runs from mid-May until the end of September and will include 40 individual recitals by award-winning pianists from all over the world. The recitals are free and take place every Sunday at 12:00 and 16:00. Incredibly popular, locals flock to the park for these occasions and you should too. Take a blanket and a picnic and enjoy one of Warsaw's most charming summer traditions.
