Promoting their newest album, Seekers and Finders, Gogol Bordello is hitting up Warsaw, Kraków, and Poznań as part of their world tour. Formed in the Lower East Side of Manhattan in 1999, this multicultural band established itself as a heavy hitter in the NYC alternative rock scene by largely pulling inspiration from Eastern European punk bands. Representing countries like Russia, Ethiopia, Ecuador, and the US, Gogol Bordello is led by the charismatic Eugene Hütz, who himself is Ukrainian-American. Created across three continents and enriched with sounds from the violin, marimba, trumpet, and accordion, the Seekers and Finders album stays true to the band's international nature, highlighting their distinct style—a unique blend of punk-rock with Romani-style music.
