Jan Moszumański-Kotwica is a multimedia artist whose exhibition at the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art, is inspired by the noise-music concerts the artist performs under the alias of Death Wind. The recurring theme of his art is the movement of air. During his performance, the wind is not just a mere instrument, but also a solo voice. The main part of the exhibition is the screening of a film projected on a screen stretched like a sail, which portrays a series of natural disasters against which people are powerless. The film is accompanied by recordings from Tanzania and Uganda, where Moszumański-Kotwica was working on a documentary about the Kampala music scene.
