The collection of 19th-century artist Józef Brandt contains around 300 works representing different periods of his artistic activity. He was best known for his depictions of battles and 17th-century military life. Oil paintings, watercolour, and drawings will be enhanced by a reconstruction of Brandt’s original ‘Eastern’ studio in Munich. The studio amassed numerous historic artefacts, pieces of militaria, and Asian costumes, creating an interesting exhibit of the past.
