Opera

  Pl. Teatralny 1 ,   Old Town          (+48) 22 828 70 75     more than a year ago

A no-expense spared design masterpiece found in the basement of the National Opera. Descend the curving stairwell and all you’ll see is boys with attitude, dressed in popped collared polo shirts, and a heart-stopping spread of gazelle-like girls. If you were wondering where the good lookers went, you’ve found the answer. Tread down wood boards and through vaulted tunnels to reach the main arena, checking out the numerous side rooms on the way; this place was formerly known as Bedroom, and that’s because of the alcoves found shooting off in every direction. Each comes decorated with poufs, loungers and Persian drapes, and serve as a great spot to enjoy illicit activities. If you're searching for a venue for your next private party, you can rent out the whole place from Sun-Fri.

Great dj and ambiance. Dress decent and they will let you in. For guys wear a blazer and stylish pants and you are set. For girls wear a cocktail dress or skirt. Saw lots of beautiful and ugly people in opera club but all were well dressed

I went for a friend's birthday. There was a giant queue outside and it took around 45 minutes to get in the cold. Definitely wasn't worth it.The interior did not impress, I hated the soviet style entrance doors, the narrow hallway and the typically crowd of useless poseurs. Afterwards we went to a dive called the Glasshouse on Jerozolimskie between KFC and Rotunda and had a ton more fun.
