A joint exhibition of the Archdiocese Museum and the Paris Gallery Roi Dore, the exhibition saw great reviews and popularity in France. Zdzisław Beksiński, an architect by profession, began his artistic activity in photography during the 1950’s. His drawings and paintings are known for their great detail. He liked to focus the subject of his work on landscapes, skeletons, various creatures, and sometimes gruesome depictions of life. Beksiński’s work can be seen in many major cities in Poland, but there is no permanent exhibit in Warsaw, making this a rare opportunity for those in the capital.
