A bypass can be interprited a number of ways. From one perspective, it is an operative procedure that can save a life. From another, it can reveal how amazing artistic figures and phenomena can become hidden gems in the back rooms of our greatest institutions. For the Museum of Contemporary Art in Wrocław, curating this exhibition was a bit of both - giving people a cultural life in this incredibly difficult time, as well as browsing through their collection of works that are not on permanent display! The museum aims to keep a balance between disciplines, (painting, sculpture, various forms of graphics, photography, video art and installation), not to mention works of male and female artists, from Ą to Ż - The exhibition begins with Zofia Artymowska and Getulio Alviani, ends with Janina Żemojtel, the latter of whom is an artist closely associated with Wrocław. This rare opportunity will be hosted at the museum's gallery in the Four Domes Pavillion!
