The works of visual-installationist Günther Uecker and sculpture Magdalena Abakanowicz, both born in 1930, are brought together at the Four Domes Pavillion, united in their theme of the human condition in the 21st century. The enslavement of humanity, its anguish, entanglement and weakness in the face of violence, and at the same time its capacity for destruction, are the subjects explored both by artists, in particular Uecker's 'Sand Mill' installation, highlighting the artists' expression of solidarity for those who are being exploited for labour.
