It may sound a little surreal, but on Zadar’s islands you can even ski! On 19 December 2020 the island of Veli Iž hosts a fun event including skiing with a sea view on snow brought over from Lika. The “Iž Prince and Princess” children’s sledging race is followed by the main event, “Queen of Iž”.
