Zadar’s historic People’s Square (Narodni trg) becomes a lively stage for evenings filled with traditional music and dance. Visitors can enjoy a series of free open-air performances that highlight the region’s musical and cultural heritage.
You can experience performances by well-known local klapa groups such as Klapa Leut, Kontrada, Diadora, Munita, Dalmatika, and Puntamika. These vocal ensembles sing traditional Dalmatian songs a cappella, creating a unique sound deeply rooted in local history and everyday life.
Alongside the music, folklore groups like KUD Sveti Donat and KUD Zadarski tanac bring traditional dances and costumes to the square, offering a glimpse into customs passed down through generations.
Concerts usually take place in the evening, from 21:00 to 23:00, and are open to all.
