Tallinn Zoo boasts one of the most impressive collections of exotic species in Northern Europe. In addition to extensive outside exhibits including birds of prey, lynxes and grey seals, among many others, you can check out the Pachyderm house, which in addition to elephants and rhinos also features various snakes and a pigmy hippo or duck into the steamy, crocodile and chimp-filled Tropical House. The zoo's latest addition is the Southeast Asian Rainforest exhibition offering a unique experience of the rainforest’s biodiversity and wildlife. The Zoo also features a Polarium that provides a spacious home for two polar bears. Environmental Education Centre and Children's Zoo can be found near the west gate at Ehitajate tee 150. By public transport it is easiest to enter through the north gate at Paldiski tee 145, just take bus N°21, 21b, 22, 41, 41b or 42 from city centre to the Zoo stop.

Open 09:00 - 20:00.
Ticket office is open 09:00-18:00. Indoor expositions 10:00-19:00, closed Mon. Children´s Zoo is open daily 10:00-19:00 (outdoor exhibition area 10:00 - 18:00). You are allowed to wander the zoo 2 hours after the ticket office closes.

Price/Additional Info

May 1st - September 30th, 2023: Admission €14, reduced €8, family €30. A joint family ticket for the Tallinn Zoo and Open Air Museum is €38 , and it may be used on separate days. A joint family ticket for Tallinn Zoo, Estonian Museum of Natural History and Tallinn Botanic Garden is €35 and it may be used on separate days.
