On display at the Museum of Post and Telecommunications from 9 November 2021 to 1 July 2023, the exhibition Hello! Where are you? 30 years of mobile telephony in Slovenia presents the advancement of Slovenian mobile telephony, the beginnings of which coincide with Slovenia’s independence. We highlight milestones in the development of the mobile network and technological innovations. Thirty years ago, it was impossible to imagine that mobile telephony would thrive in such a short time since many households did not even hold a landline phone at the time. The mobile phone has become an indispensable accessory over the last decade, replacing many devices through various applications.

Published in Slovenian, the exhibition’s catalog briefly outlines the evolution of mobile telephony, its technology, and infrastructure validated by the testimonies of individuals actively involved in its development.
