The image of Edith Piaf seems to be cemented for all eternity: a gentle, fragile girl, who was shaped by the streets into a precocious artist. A person who sings as perfectly and independently as Edith would not be able to do so if he did not not only know, but also experience events from the other, "worse" side of life. The statement that only one who knows hell can talk about paradise also applies to her.

The play was selected for the competitive programme of the 2004 Borštnik meeting, where Vesna Pernarčič, who has been awarded many times for her work, won the prize for the best play.
