Technoburlesque Image Snatchers

Burlesque comes from the Italian word “burla”, a joke, ridicule or mockery in 17th century. From works of literature to theatre, burlesque is one of the best ways to mirror society and show what’s wrong with it. Not heavy for the attention, burlesque shows are generally funny, fast-paced and sum up this incredible complexity of human life in a provocative, unique and creative way. With their own, original techno pieces, the Emanat collective of Image Snatchers take to the stage, snatching images, to the delight of all of us who appreciate this kind of theatre and also those who stumble upon it and let themselves be taken by the absurdity that ends up making way more sense than life itself.
