Modern American jazz master Stanley Jordan made a major splash in guitar circles back in the Eighties, in large part because of his innovative "touch" tapping technique and unusual all-fourths tuning. Usually, a guitarist uses two hands to play each note. Jordan produces a note using only one finger by quickly tapping his finger down behind the appropriate fret. His technique allows the guitarist to play melody and chords simultaneously. The artist invited Poznań Jazz Philharmonic Orchestra to collaborate with him during the upcoming concert. It will certainly be a perfect occasion to experience this amazing innovative artist performing live.
