Krzysztof Komeda-Trzciński Monument

ul. Przybyszewskiego 37A ,   Łazarz         more than a year ago
This monument to one of Poland's finest music talents, Krzysztof Komeda, was unveiled in 2010 in front of the Medical Academy's Congress and Didactic Centre. A man of many talents, Komeda was not only the composer of numerous film scores (including music for Rosemary's Baby) but also an ear, throat, and nose specialist and graduate of the Poznań Medical Academy. This life-size statue by Adam Dawczak-Dębicki portrays the artist looking at frames from films he contributed to.
