The title of the exhibition is a quote from the documentary text "Donbas, Rise Up!" juxtaposing 
Putin's project Novorossiya with an image of Donbas ravaged by war. The artists Lada Nakonechna, Nikita Kadan, and Mykola Ridnyi explore the issue of a historical narrative that moves the tragedy of war into the realm of myth. The question that needs to be asked here is whether this process takes away from the painful reality of a historical event? Shouldn't art help remember these events, making them even more tangible to the public? Shouldn't a work of art serve as a tools for understanding the past?
