Decorated.Realised presents a collection of works of classics of modern Polish art from the likes of Tadeusz Kantor, Magdalena Abakanowicz, Edward Krasiński, Mikołaj Smoczyński and Marek Piasecki. They all share a common thread in attempting to break the conventional approach of art as only a picture or sculpture. There are many ways to interpret art - One of them can be a story about space, another can be the story about an object. The focus is shifted towards thinking about space as a key element in building a work of art.

In 2019, Galeria Starmach had the pleasure to present the Games exhibition at the State Art Gallery in Sopot. This year's exhibition, Decorated.Realised, is a fruitful continuation of the cooperation between both institutions.
