Spending her early years in Riga and Moscow, and developing her artistic vision in Poland, Katarzyna Kobro was a Polish sculpture known for her constructivism. She rejected individualism, subjectivism and expressionism, and instead postulated the absolute objectivism of form, her originality of achievements compared to works of Constantin Brancusi and Albert Giacometti. The exhibition will expand on her philosophies of socially engaged art and comprises some of her sculpture work during her lifetime.
