The Kossak family is a well-know family from Kraków whose 4 generations of artists have all made their mark on Polish art and learning. This family of artists have depicted some of the most important events of Polish 19th century history, including national uprisings, the Napoleonic epoch, battles and world wars. The National Gallery in Sopot will present more than 200 works from these artists including oil paintings, acrylic, sketches, letters, photographs and family heirlooms.
