Tama Club

  ul. Niezłomnych 2 ,   City Centre         30 Apr 2025

Located inside the imposing building of the Wielkopolska Chamber of Crafts (Izba Rzemieślnicza), Tama is Poznań's largest club and indoor concert space. It's also probably the city's best if your critieria is size, quality and intensity.

Main entrance of Tama circa 2010, only 5 years before the club's opening.

Designed in a style that blends Mannerist architecture with Polish Art Deco, the huge building of the Chamber of Crafts was erected in the late 1920s as a headquarters for the city's guilds, and is also known as the 'Guild House.' Today it is invaded on Fridays and Saturdays by fans of cutting edge electronic, house and techno music who call it the 'Techno Palace.' The quality of the bookings is legitimately at a world-class level, and the main hall of the club - where DJs preside over the party from an elevated stage - can hold 900 ravers. Concerts and seated events also take place, with different parts of the building - including a smoking area, multiple bars, rooms and courtyard access - open to visitors depending on the event.
This is a fairly representative set-up and look of one of Tama's weekend raves.
In terms of design the historic interiors has been left largely intact, though you'd hardly know it in the main hall with its black walls and simple industrial feel. If you're a huge fan of electronic music, Tama is probably already on your radar. The indoor parties here are extremely intense, so brace yourself before you enter the throng. Things are a lot more chill if the event includes access to the interior courtyard.
More low-key summer party in the large courtyard of Tama.
