With the topic of Jewish-Polish relations being of particular political salience these days (and we won't say why), this exhibit examines yet another significant historical moment along the timeline of Poland's post-war political tumult. In March 1968, an anti-Semitic "campaign" was enforced by certain powerful people in Poland's political landscape, leading to the exile of at least 13,000 Poles of Jewish descent out of the country. This exhibit compiles some of those painful stories, and presents them around a metaphorical railway station—a typical "goodbye" place.
