Walk off the street and into what feels like the side kitchen to the secret garden, with its swing, outside seating, leafy surroundings, ahhh, it's nice... until a train wooshes past on the nearby track. Don't let that put you off, for inside, the leafy theme continues - the name of the venue is Polish for 'forest', so they're doing just it just like it says on the tin!. Here you'll find a very modern and hip take on Polish cuisine using seasonal ingredients, and great cocktails to match (returning in the evening is a must). The portions are just right, with very ingenious presentations of what may otherwise have been considered bland looking, but always tasty, Polish staple foods. No matter what the season, this is definitely a great place to eat, and relax with a drink. If you're near the river, a quick visit wouldn't go amiss.
