Wojciech Pustoła is a sculptor working in marble. For the past few years he has been going back to Carrara, the small Italian town famous for its marble. The CUT exhibition is an attempt to present a microcosm of Carrara with its immanent element - marble. It is also an epilogue to the artist's film White Cube, which tells a story of the decline of the traditional craftsmanship juxtaposed against Antropomorfo robot, capable of mechanically creating the most perfect form out of marble. The CUT exhibition is a reflection on traditional values constantly undermined by technology.
