Art Club on Tue, Oct 3 at Strauss & Co's Houghton showroom focuses on artists working in clay. In collaboration with Melville's Love Books, Strauss & Co hosts the launch of Clay Formes: Contemporary Clay from South Africa published by Art Formes (@__artformes__). In this one-of-a-kind survey, beautiful photography and literary essays celebrate multiple generations of living South African ceramicists pushing the medium of clay to its highest sculptural expression. Editor and art historian Olivia Barrell will be in conversation with a special guest discussing local ceramics at the event. You'll also be treated to a preview of highlights from Strauss & Co's upcoming November live flagship art auction.
