Thursday Feb 25 - Monday Mar 1

Because we stubbornly wait for this year, March 1, traditionally, even if with a mask and physical distance, we will celebrate, this time, at the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant, Martisor, an event that has become, in the last 15 years , a reference for the general public in the landscape of Bucharest fairs.

The Martisor Fair promotes and recontextualizes the celebration of a custom that in the last century has received a series of transformations, predominantly in the urban space. Encouraging artistic creativity and craftsmanship capable of being renewed with features designed to communicate through expressiveness, imagination and sense of humor the older or newer meanings of the custom, the fair brings to the public's attention a rich offer through the uniqueness, creativity and diversity of martisoara.

With a number of only 100 participants, due to the pandemic context, the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant organizes the Martisor Fair, this year, under restricted conditions, respecting the restrictions imposed by the authorities.
