It seems that no matter where you go in the world, you will always find a British or Irish themed pub. Johannesburg is no exception to the rule and there are a number of watering holes which have taken inspiration from the British and Irish endearing love of the pub - often by plastering themselves in shamrocks, filling their shelves with ye olde bric-a-brac, covering the walls in photos of the green hills of the old country or just making sure there's a barrel of Guinness on tap.
