Returning to home shores after a stint in New York, Cape Town-born saxophonist Abraham Mennen stops over at Joburg’s leading jazz club The Orbit, taking to the stage with long-time tour mates and friends. A graduate of London’s Royal College of Music, Mennen has performed with prestigious ensembles such as the London Contemporary Orchestra and worked with American jazz icon bassist William Parker among other major stars of the jazz world.

For his performance at The Orbit, Mennen is joined by SAMA-nominated drummer Tumi Mogorosi, Argentinean-born bassist Ariel Zamonsky and award-winning guitarist and composer Vuma Levin.
