The dynamic Raymond Rampolokeng runs Africa Bird Tours offering bird-watching tours in the wetland areas of Soweto, including Orlando and Moroka Dam. An avid conservationist Rampolokeng is Soweto’s first trained birding guide. A particular tour highlight is the hike up Enoch Sontonga koppie, offering spectacular views of Soweto. There is also the option to join Raymond on a birding tour of other areas of Gauteng such as Suikerbosrand Nature Reserve, Klipriviersberg and the Cradle of Humankind. Tours are on foot or by bike.
