Timed to coincide with Valentine's Day, the latest exhibition at Joburg's only dedicated photography gallery, FotoZA in Rosebank Mall, takes a fresh new look at wedding photography. Professional wedding photographer Tim Moolman's exhibition Anticipated presents some of his favourite documentary-style shots that capture both private and public moments of joy at weddings across South Africa.

From cheeky kids to subtle glimpses of nervous brides and impatient grooms and unique action shots of wedding parties of all creeds and colour in full swing, it's a refreshing and brilliantly compiled look at everyday people enjoying the best days of their lives. The photographer's own captions, outlining his techniques and intentions behind using certain shots and angles, further add to the exhibition's uniquely emotive qualities.
