Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton is turning up the festive glamour with Celebrations on the Square, a holiday pop-up from Fri, Dec 12 – Mon, Dec 22, 2025 that you can visit from 16:00 – 21:00 daily.

Step inside a glass marquee brimming with seasonal cheer at Nelson Mandela Square's seasonal celebration. In the open piazza, sip Laurent-Perrier champagne, nibble on charcuterie boards, and browse boutique gifts and artisanal treats from local favourites like Babylonstoren, Oooh La La, Veldmeisie, Storm Ceramics, and Le Perline. 

Festive food and drink highlights include artisanal gelato from Gelato Mania, tea from Matcha Pod, and expertly brewed coffee by Kaldista Coffee Company. Lemoni Food Studio will retail all things delicious, or pick up a traditional Panettone to enjoy at home. Plus, shop a curated selection of local cookbooks by Naqiyah Mayat, Angie Durrant, and more. To tie a bow around it all, pick up boutique packaging from Wrap It – your loved ones will thank you.
