Africa’s biggest pop culture and gaming celebration returns from Thu, Aug 28 – Sun, Aug 31, 2025 for its sixth edition. Comic Con Africa transforms the Nasrec Expo Centre into a four-day playground for fans of comics, gaming, cosplay, film, anime, and more. Buy your tickets here. 

Meet and support over 100 local and international creators at the Artist Alley and expect high-stakes at the eSports showdowns. There's also the Casual Cosplay competition, where participants show off the creations they often spend months making. For book lovers, Comic Con introduces The Book Nook this year. Expect daily meet-ups, author sessions, and fun quizzes.

The star-studded guest list Comic Con is famous for includes Supernatural’s Misha Collins, The Boys’ Jessie T. Usher, Dan Fogler (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, The Walking Dead, Fanboys), and rising star Chioma Umeala (One Piece, The Woman King). Guests can also attend informative panels and creative workshops on topics ranging from comic book creation to cosplay techniques, learn from industry experts, and gain insights into their favourite fandoms.
