The annual Dean’s Concert returns for its third year, featuring a line-up of established and emerging classical musicians. Helmed by baritone professor and Dean of FADA (Faculty of Art, Design & Architecture) Professor Federico Freschi and starring the multi-award-winning UJ Choir, the classical music gala is held in aid of the University of Johannesburg’s Dean's Bursary Fund. Co-created by renowned South African pianist Christopher Duigan, the evening’s programme also features performances by the Johannesburg Youth Orchestra Company, one of the first female black South African opera singers, soprano Loveline Madumo and Spanish saxophonist David Salleras.
