share
A special dog-friendly day at the Norwood Park timed to coincide with the jacaranda season that is helping to raise support for the important work carried out by the PETS organisation (Pet Empowerment in Townships). Norwood Park is actually technically a dog park and the local residents association has made efforts to adequately fence the park so that dogs can run around and is celebrating with the first-ever Dog Dayze dog-friendly day in the park.

Visitors are encouraged to bring along their dogs and picnics and relax in the park. Entrance is R20 which goes towards the ongoing street and park cleaning campaigns led by the community resident's association while donations of dog blankets and dog food for the PETS campaign is also greatly appreciated.
