Described as a third space, here.joburg, is Zaheer Mahomed’s answer to the question: what happens when a furniture showroom, coffee bar, and art gallery move in together?

During the week, the space serves as a beautiful and relaxed environment for meetings and remote workers. On weekends, local DJs can be found spinning tunes to help get everyone pumped up, especially the early morning runners. here.joburg exists as a collaborative space, with Mahomed wanting to uplift young South African brands, artists, and entrepreneurs.

The in-house coffee and pastries are whipped up by none other than local favourite, Father Coffee. The space is also home to Cape Town street-wear brand, EBEN, with the here.joburg x EBEN collaboration of t-shirts available for purchase in store. The stunning art on the walls is sourced by local gallery, Under The Aegis, and the stylish and comfortable furniture that decorates the space is designed by the African artisan organisation, Daily.
