Join Johannesburg In Your Pocket and MicroAdventure Tours on Sat, Oct 25 from 14:00 – 18:30 for a sensational afternoon out showcasing some of the city’s best jacaranda views, paired with Champagne, canapés, a walk in The Wilds, and a sunset rooftop drink.

This special experience celebrates the most spectacular time of year in Joburg, when thousands of jacaranda trees burst into bloom and create a sweeping purple canopy across the city’s streets. It’s also a chance to explore beautiful locations, stress-free. Simply drive to, or get dropped off at, The Leonardo in Sandton to meet the bus, and everything else is taken care of. Paid parking is available at The Leonardo.

Hosted by Joburg's King of Adventure, Kennedy Tembo of MicroAdventure Tours, the afternoon begins with a fun ride across the city on the open-top City Sightseeing red bus, departing promptly at 14:00 (arrive for check-in by 13:30). The first stop is Joburg’s highest viewpoint, Alto234, with breathtaking views of the city’s tree canopy, complemented by a glass of Champagne and canapés.

From there, the tour continues in search of glorious tree views from the top deck of the bus, including a stop at Munro Drive, a guided walk through The Wilds, and a final rooftop destination at Epicure at ONE in Rosebank, where you’ll be treated to a welcome drink, small bites, and an introduction by Chef Coco.

This experience costs R975 per person and includes drinks and light bites. Bring your walking shoes. Book your tickets here.
